The instructor describes the steps to perform successful searches in Google Scholar. The objective is to increase precision, the percentage of relevant papers found, without decreasing recall, the percentage of relevant papers out there that the search misses. The goal is to find only the very few most relevant and recent papers about a topic that we can use to create upon.
