Description of the webinar
How is it like to teach when the students are present both in the classroom and online? What should you think about and are there any good advice? These are some of the things that will be addressed when Professor Carl-Mikael Zetterling presents his experiences from study period 1 when he conducted this type of teaching.
During study period 1 some of the teaching at KTH returned to our campuses, where certain courses have had lectures, seminars, etc, where students have been able to participate both on campus and online (e.g via Zoom). Having to manage students online as well in the classroom is a new situation for many teachers, with a lot of new challenges to make the teaching work. During the webinar, Carl-Mikael will present about which equipment he has used and how he combined teaching for students in the auditorium and online along with a course design involving recording of lectures and opportunities for laboratory work that can be performed at home. If you are teaching a course in this way during period 2, this webinar will be valuable.

Titel: Lärare berättar: Undervisning med studenter på distans och i sal.
Hur är det egentligen att undervisa när studenterna finns med både i sal och online? Vad bör man tänka på och finns det några bra tips? Det här är några av de frågor som kommer behandlas då professor Carl-Mikael Zetterling presenterar sina erfarenheter från läsperiod 1 då denna typ av undervisning genomfördes. Läsperiod 1 innebar en viss återgång till campus-undervisning, där vissa kurser har haft synkrona undervisningstillfällen där studenterna kunnat vara med både i sal på campus och online (tex via Zoom). Att hantera studenter på distans samtidigt med studenter i undervisningssalen är en ny situation för många, med en hel del nya utmaningar för att få undervisningen att fungera. Carl-Mikael kommer under webbinariet berätta om vilken utrustning han använt och kombinerat undervisning i sal och online tillsammans med inspelning och möjligheter till laborationer som kan utföras hemma.
