Framtidens utbildning på KTH

KTH rektor Anders Söderholm talar i detta introduktionstal på KTH SoTL 2023-konferensen om vad vi måste reflektera över och vidta åtgärder för framtidens utbildning. Han talar om livslångt lärande, hur en framtida laboratoriemiljö bör se ut och vilken typ av miljöer vi behöver för att möta behoven hos framtida studenter. Han nämner också det framtida utbildningsprogrammet och nämner några av de 13 principerna.
"Vi vet inte hur framtiden ser ut, det är ju det som är den inneboende egenskapen i framtiden. Men vi har alla ett ansvar att faktiskt fundera och försöka vara med att skapa goda förutsättningar för framtidens utbildning".
"Det handlar ju om vad våra studenter möter i framtiden när de är ute på arbetsmarknaden. Att kunna utveckla kunskap och profession inte bara för sitt ämne och i sitt ämne, utan också att utveckla förmåga för att hantera det ämnet".

We don't know what the future looks like, that's the inherent quality of the future. But we all have a responsibility to actually think and try to help create favourable conditions for the education of the future".
"It's about what our students face in the future when they are out in the labour market. Being able to develop knowledge and professionalism not only for their subject and in their subject, but also to develop the ability to deal with that subject".
