Abstract This study explores the possibility of using musical soundscapes to facilitate reflections about the impact of climate change on a personal level and how this potentially could shift an individual's values towards increased pro-environmental behavior. By sonifying historic and future climate data, an interactive timeline was created where the user can explore a soundscape changing in time. A prototype was developed and a small user test was conducted. This user test indicated that the soundscapes successfully induced the emotions that they were designed to do, but further studies are needed in order to get significant results and investigate the effects on the values of the listener.
