Abstract The wearable room is a jacket that explores the
soundscape of our future. It works as a shield
between you and the outside world if you want to
create a feeling of being more undisturbed,
private and calm. This paper gives some
background information about sonfication,
describes the actual construction of the jacket and
how it works. It also talks about the challenges of
making intective clothing, where preferrable
ways of handling both software and hardware are
discussed.
