Abstract One of the most important things that improves gaming experience today is the sound. Several researches have been done about games for visually impaired persons where the sound and not the screen has the lead role. We decided to explore more this area be developing a ball game which could be played only with the beeping sound. The task was to bring the ball controlled by gravity to the goal by tilting the phone. During the game the beeping sound indicated the distance to the target which became higher the closer to the target. We also conducted the study where we tested the game on two groups to see which group would complete the task faster. The first group played the game with visual aid and without the sound while the second group tested the game only with beeping sound navigating them. The results showed that people with visual aid completed the task in a shorter time which could be predicted.
