The courtyard with level 5 has a rich variation of greenery and high values of ecosystem services due to its expanded and multi-layered vegetation. The values of regulating ecosystem services are higher than at level 4, mainly because of the addition of a pond installation and the increased volume of plant beds on the roofs. This improves characteristics such as stormwater delay and temperature regulation. The pond installation and the large number of climbing plants also contribute to noise reduction, biological diversity, and opportunities for nature education. Finally, the vast variation in the ground layer, including extended areas for butterfly beds and elements of meadows, provides high values for pollination, biological diversity, and sensory experiences.
